The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, has announced plans to open a brand new photography gallery in the autumn.
Featuring permanent works by renowned photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus, Man Ray and Irving Penn the new gallery will display a wide range of works exampling images from the late 19th century right up to the 1960s.
BBC news reports: ‘The display will be re-curated every 18 months. Temporary displays of more contemporary works will be shown in the Victoria and Albert’s existing photo galleries.’ Source
